My Tarot Experience: How The Fool was reflected in my life

Jewell Dina

and The Fool

One thing I’ve noticed with creating a tarot deck is how the cards end up reflecting back in my life. The start of this project very much had The Fool energy. I woke up on the first day of 2026 with the idea to start this series. My head was pounding and I could barely talk that day, I had my largest creative download. I saw things in a new light and I started to understand how everything I've done leading up to this point would connect with what I need to do next. Embracing The Fool's energy, I started posting online before even sketching my first card; starting this journey of documenting woodburning all the tarot cards.

The Reference Photo

The reference photo for The Fool tarot card was taken in 2021 when I spontaneously quit my job to move to my cottage and pursue art (the first time). Just like The Fool, I stood at the edge of a cliff, unsure where the journey would lead me, but optimistic that I was on the right path.
