My Tarot Experience: How The Empress was reflected in my life
and The Empress
Starting The Empress tarot card lined up perfectly with the start of spring. When I reached an artist block, I brought The Empress woodturning outside and inspiration followed. The Empress definitely holds a very slow transformative energy. During this time it felt like there was always a lot going on, between the business side of this project and motherhood. I also made the greatest physical and mental transformation (so far) while in this card's energy.
The Reference Photo
The photo for The Empress tarot card's reference photo was taken when I was pregnant. In 2023, I stuck a tripod in the mud to capture this maternity photo. Becoming a mother has helped to push me towards doing this art project. I hope to connect, heal, and inspire.
